Consumer Lending Control Remediation
Our client, a top 25 bank, had significant regulatory issues with its risk and controls and the ability to align with regulator expectations in its Consumer Lending product and servicing area.
IntegrAssure deployed a Risk and Compliance solutions team of 9 Senior Lending resources to lead the effort of reviewing and enhancing 375 controls, process maps, desk procedures and a review and true up of state and federal regs. To create efficiency within the team and our client, a database was created to provide for real time visibility and reporting.
As an outcome of the review, new standards were proposed and adopted for how to construct and document a well written control. In addition, over 170 automation opportunities were presented that would move 120 manual controls to automated and a redeployment of 23 QA resources to other work.
